They may not be identical but they do have each other’s backs

Freshman triplets Bridget, Bella, and William Russo, are excited to start high school together. Since the first day of kindergarten, the triplets have supported and helped each other through their school careers.

“It’s really exciting to be in high school together,” Bella said. “It’s good to always have each other to help with school work and outside work, and to always have each other’s backs.”

Whereas in elementary and middle school they saw each other frequently and shared some classes, now that they’re in high school they have spread out and pursued their own interests.

“My sister and I both play volleyball and are art majors, and Will does band,” Bridget said. “[Bella and I] are kind of artsy and he’s into music and stuff.”

Bella describes her and Bridget’s relationship as a “healthy competition”. Because they share similar hobbies, and are in the same art class, they tend to build off of each other’s ideas.

“She’s kind of like my competition,” Bridget said. “If she’s doing something then I gotta start working to catch up to her.”

While the triplets have differences, they love each other, and love being a triplet.

“It never gets lonely or boring,” Bridget said. “You always have someone to talk to.”

William added, “It’s nice to always have somebody to hangout with.”

Bella agrees: “It’s fun to have three people that you are going through life with at the exact same time.”

They also share a passion for music. While Bella and Will mostly listen to rock music, Bridget likes both rock and pop.

“They [Bridget and Bella] like art and sports, and I like different things,” William said. “But we all like music.”

Though they aren’t identical, Bella and Bridget have had many times where people mix them up and call them the wrong name.

“Bella is just my second name,” Bridget said. “I’ve learned to just respond to anyone that thinks I’m Bella.”

Bridget and Bella both described the other as the “leader,” and both claim that they look up to each other in different ways.

“Bridget used to be the dominant one when we were younger,” Bella said. “She’d always get yelled at for pushing us around and stuff, I guess she’s still kind of the leader in a way because she’s the most outgoing.”

Bridget claims: “I feel like I kind of follow [Bella], I always look up to her and what she’s doing.”

I love this story I didn’t know Bridget and Bella were sister even when I play volleyball with Bridget and take photos with Bella. I guess that explains why Bella goes to the away games and not take pictures; shes supporting her sister of course, silly me. Nice to know that not all siblings hate each other.

This is so cute! It’s really impressive to have known people for so long even just from childhood all the way up until high school. The photos are a really nice touch.

I love this story! It’s so funny to see them in Kindergarten again because I have gone to school with them since kinder and it’s so interesting to see pictures of your friends when they are younger because you don’t realize how small you are while your growing up until you look at pictures from when you were that little.

I love this story and I love the Russos! Sometimes it’s really nice to have stories like this that are just fun and spotlight some of the really cool students at Mac. Everybody has things that make them special and it’s great to see that reflected in the news!
